High-profile real estate fintech platform

A busy, high-profile fintech product in real estate needed steady upkeep and ongoing development.
What I built
Maintained and developed the platform for a year, fixing issues and shipping improvements.
The result
The product stayed stable and kept moving for a full year.

Large WordPress sites on AWS

Maintained and developed large-scale WordPress sites running on AWS.
The result
The sites kept running reliably on AWS while new work was added.

AWS call logging and image loading

Call logging and image delivery needed to run without anyone doing them by hand.
What I built
AWS automations for logging calls and for loading images from S3 buckets.

Both run automatically instead of being handled manually.

Jira automations, planning to deployment

Jira automations covering the whole path, from product ownership through to deployment.

Fewer manual hand-offs between planning and release.

Legacy repository, containerised

A messy repository was slow for new developers to set up and run.
What I built
Containerised it with Docker and wrote a complete step-by-step guide to getting started.
The result
New developers could get the project running quickly from the guide.

macOS command-line and Swift apps

Everyday jobs on a Mac were slow or manual.
What I built
Command-line tools and Swift applications for macOS.
The result
Working macOS tools, written in Swift and as command-line programs.

What I do

I'm a full-stack developer who leans towards the backend: REST APIs in NestJS and Laravel, React front ends, and the AWS setup behind them. I work independently and remotely, and I'm comfortable owning a task from the first ticket through to deployment.

Backend and APIs

REST APIs and services in NestJS, TypeScript and Laravel, backed by PostgreSQL or SQL Server.

Front ends

React and TypeScript interfaces that sit on top of those APIs.

AWS, automation and testing

AWS setups, Jira and deployment automations, and UI tests that run before big releases.
